El día de hoy sostuvimos un encuentro y diálogo con los Ministros de Asuntos Exteriores del Reino Unido, Francia y Alemania, así como con el Alto Representante de la Unión Europeа, en la ciudad de Ginebra.
Durante esta reunión, la República Islámica de Irán expresó su profunda preocupación por la falta de condena, por parte de los tres países europeos, ante el acto de agresión perpetrado por el régimen sionista. Se enfatizó que la República Islámica de Irán continuará ejerciendo su derecho a la legítima defensa frente a dicho régimen, con el propósito de detener la agresión y prevenir su repetición, actuando con firmeza y determinación.
Asimismo, se subrayó que el programa nuclear de Irán tiene fines exclusivamente pacíficos se encuentra bajo la supervisión del Organismo Internacional de Energía Atómica (OIEA). En este sentido, se consideró que cualquier ataque contra instalaciones nucleares pacíficas constituye un crimen grave y una violación flagrante de normas imperativas y del derecho internacional. Se manifestó, por tanto, una seria preocupación y se formularon críticas por la omisión, tanto de los tres países europeos como de la Unión Europea, en condenar dichos ataques.
Si cesan los actos de agresión y se garantiza que los responsables rindan cuentas por sus crímenes, la República Islámica de Irán está dispuesta a considerar el camino de la diplomacia. A este respecto, dejé claro que las capacidades defensivas de Irán no son objeto de negociación.
Reiteramos nuestra disposición a continuar el diálogo con los tres países europeos y con la Unión Europea, y expresamos nuestra voluntad de mantener una nueva reunión en un futuro próximo.

Today we held a meeting and dialogue with the Foreign Ministers of the United Kingdom, France and Germany, as well as with the High Representative of the European Union, in the city of Geneva.
During this meeting, the Islamic Republic of Iran expressed its deep concern about the lack of condemnation, by the three European countries, of the act of aggression perpetrated by the Zionist regime. It was emphasized that the Islamic Republic of Iran will continue to exercise its right to legitimate defense against said regime, with the purpose of stopping the aggression and preventing its repetition, acting with firmness and determination.
It was also stressed that Iran’s nuclear program is exclusively for peaceful purposes and is under the supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). In this regard, it was considered that any attack on peaceful nuclear facilities constitutes a serious crime and a flagrant violation of norms imperatives and international law. Therefore, serious concern was expressed and criticism was expressed for the failure of all three European countries and the European Union to condemn these attacks.
If the acts of aggression cease and those responsible are held accountable for their crimes, the Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to consider the path of diplomacy. In this regard, I made it clear that Iran’s defensive capabilities are not subject to negotiation.
We reiterate our readiness to continue the dialogue with the three European countries and with the European Union, and express our willingness to hold a new meeting in the near future.
